NO cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products on treated area for 10 days.

Avoid direct contact with toothpaste and mouthwash as it contains bleaching agents

Lips will be swollen for few days. Antiinflammatories may be taken to reduce this.

Avoid Spicy food, drink through straw for first 24 hours

Do not apply topical cosmetics over area while healing.

For the next three days blot the area lightly if fluid occurs

Continue anti-viral treatment for 7 days if you are prone to fever blisters (herpes simplex).

Lips may feel itchy and flaky this is normal and part of the healing process.

During healing process, 5-7 days apply ointment with Q-tip when dry.

When scabbing occurs allow to peel off naturally, do not pick or pull as it will influence color retention.

Color will fade up to 30-50% depending on skin type, within 2 weeks and final results will only be visible after 2 months.
